Mailchimp AI and your company’s data
By David Michaelson, MS Last checked October 23, 2026
The short answer
Mailchimp is part of Intuit, and Intuit’s privacy statement says it may use your information, including contact and purchase details from Mailchimp, across its products and to train its AI models; the pages we read describe no setting to turn this off.
Safer setup: Upload only the contact fields your campaigns need, and review every change Mailchimp AI suggests before it goes out.
