Mistral Vibe (Le Chat) and your company’s data

By David Michaelson, MS Last checked October 23, 2026

The short answer

Mistral says it uses inputs and outputs from its Vibe chat app to train its models by default unless you opt out, while Enterprise customers are opted out by default.

Safer setup: Use a Team or Enterprise account and have an admin turn off training for the whole organization, and do not use the thumbs up or down buttons on work chats.
